Welcome to TicketBooth.ph (“TicketBooth”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the access and use of the TicketBooth.ph platform, including its website, mobile applications, ticketing tools, event management tools, promotional services, and related systems.

By accessing or using TicketBooth.ph, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

  1. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM

TicketBooth.ph is an information technology platform that enables Event Organizers to publish, promote, manage, and distribute tickets for events.

TicketBooth.ph is NOT:

  • the organizer of events listed on the Platform;
  • the merchant of record for ticket sales unless expressly stated otherwise;
  • a payment processor;
  • a financial institution;
  • a remittance company;
  • a bank;
  • a custodian of customer funds.

TicketBooth.ph merely provides software, digital infrastructure, marketing visibility, QR validation systems, reporting tools, and related technology services to Event Organizers.

  1. EVENT ORGANIZER RESPONSIBILITY

Each Event Organizer is solely responsible for:

  • obtaining all permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals;
  • organizing and operating the event;
  • setting ticket prices;
  • handling customer concerns;
  • issuing refunds;
  • processing chargebacks;
  • remitting taxes;
  • complying with BSP, AMLA, DTI, BIR, and all applicable Philippine laws;
  • ensuring the legality and safety of the event.

The Event Organizer acts as the direct seller and merchant of record for all ticket sales conducted through their configured payment gateway or merchant account.

  1. PAYMENT PROCESSING

All payments made by ticket buyers are processed directly through the Event Organizer’s own payment gateway, merchant account, e-wallet, banking facility, or accredited payment provider.

TicketBooth.ph does not receive, hold, control, or custody customer funds unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

By using the Platform:

  • Event Organizers acknowledge full responsibility for all payment transactions;
  • Ticket Buyers acknowledge that payments are made directly to the Event Organizer;
  • all disputes relating to payments, refunds, reversals, cancellations, or chargebacks shall be addressed directly with the Event Organizer.

TicketBooth.ph shall not be liable for:

  • delayed settlements;
  • failed transfers;
  • frozen merchant accounts;
  • chargebacks;
  • fraudulent transactions;
  • payment gateway downtime;
  • payment disputes;
  • banking compliance issues;
  • AML/KYC investigations involving Event Organizers.
  1. EVENT LISTINGS

TicketBooth.ph reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, edit, remove, or delist any event at its sole discretion, including events that:

  • violate laws or regulations;
  • promote illegal activities;
  • contain misleading information;
  • create reputational risk;
  • may expose the Platform to compliance concerns.
  1. USER ACCOUNTS

Users may be required to create accounts to access certain Platform features.

Users agree to:

  • provide accurate information;
  • maintain the confidentiality of credentials;
  • immediately notify TicketBooth.ph of unauthorized access;
  • accept responsibility for activities conducted under their account.

TicketBooth.ph reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraud, abuse, illegal activity, or policy violations.

  1. KYC AND COMPLIANCE

Event Organizers may be required to submit:

  • government-issued IDs;
  • business registration documents;
  • tax documents;
  • bank account information;
  • proof of address;
  • additional compliance documentation.

TicketBooth.ph reserves the right to conduct verification procedures and may refuse service where compliance risks are identified.

  1. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Refund policies are established solely by the Event Organizer.

TicketBooth.ph is not obligated to:

  • issue refunds;
  • reimburse ticket buyers;
  • guarantee event fulfillment;
  • mediate disputes.

In the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification of an event, the Event Organizer bears sole responsibility toward ticket buyers.

  1. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

All chargebacks, disputes, reversals, claims, and payment investigations are the sole responsibility of the Event Organizer.

Event Organizers agree to indemnify and hold harmless TicketBooth.ph from any financial losses, penalties, claims, legal fees, or liabilities arising from:

  • disputed transactions;
  • fraudulent purchases;
  • refund claims;
  • payment gateway violations;
  • AML investigations;
  • banking disputes.
  1. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY

TicketBooth.ph does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Platform.

The Platform may experience:

  • maintenance interruptions;
  • technical downtime;
  • third-party failures;
  • internet disruptions;
  • payment gateway outages.

TicketBooth.ph shall not be liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TicketBooth.ph shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages;
  • loss of profits;
  • business interruption;
  • reputational damage;
  • data loss;
  • event cancellation losses;
  • customer disputes;
  • payment disputes;
  • fraud committed by Event Organizers or third parties.

TicketBooth.ph’s total liability shall not exceed the service fees paid directly to TicketBooth.ph during the preceding three (3) months.

  1. INDEMNIFICATION

Users and Event Organizers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TicketBooth.ph, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, penalties, liabilities, losses, and legal expenses arising from:

  • use of the Platform;
  • violation of laws;
  • breach of these Terms;
  • disputes with customers;
  • payment issues;
  • event operations.
  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All software, branding, systems, source code, workflows, graphics, logos, and technology used by TicketBooth.ph remain the exclusive property of TicketBooth.ph and/or its licensors.

Users may not:

  • copy;
  • reverse engineer;
  • resell;
  • reproduce;
  • distribute;
  • exploit the Platform without written authorization.
  1. DATA PRIVACY

Users acknowledge that personal information may be collected and processed in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the Platform’s Privacy Policy.

TicketBooth.ph may share necessary information with:

  • payment providers;
  • regulators;
  • law enforcement agencies;
  • compliance partners, when legally required.
  1. TERMINATION

TicketBooth.ph may suspend or terminate access without prior notice where:

  • fraud is suspected;
  • compliance concerns arise;
  • laws are violated;
  • the Platform is abused;
  • reputational or operational risks are identified.
  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of Makati City, Philippines.

  1. MODIFICATIONS

TicketBooth.ph reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
